| Quality Manufacturing
This is a professionally manufactured 1/4 wave FM broadcast band antenna. It is manufactured with high quality components built to specifications required for quality FM reception. The antenna is manufactured to operate from 88-108 MHz which is the domestic FM broadcast band. The antenna will work great across the FM band but if you are trying to get one specific station it could be best to tune it. The instructions are included. If you would like it to come tuned to your frequency just pass along the frequency at the time of purchase and it will be set before shipment without causing any delay. |
Portable or Fixed Station
It can be used fixed-station or semi-portable, meaning that it is very light, but does need to be mounted on a pole of some sort where it is used. The groundplane elements can be removed in mere moments by loosening 2 bolts and the radiator can be unscrewed if necessary. This antenna is built to give the longest range possible when installed correctly. The four elements and the radiator have protective tips which allow it to be used inside. No detail has been left off this outstanding antenna. DXers or FM fans can mount this antenna above their large array and will rarely if ever have to switch from this antenna to the directional one. |
|
Low Profile
The antenna is extremely low profile as the pictures show so it blends in nicely in its surroundings. The elements are at a 45 degree angle which allows maximum range for the antenna while maintaining a small footprint making this the most powerful portable FM antenna available. The sheer size of other types of antennas don't allow them to be moved and any smaller antenna will not have the ability to get the signal clearly. Because it is omnidirectional this antenna does not require a rotator. |
Easy Installation
It can be easily mounted on a light stand, microphone stand, windsock pole, or just about any pole you can provide including PVC up to 1" in diameter. It can be mounted to a horizontal crossbar or railing or to a vertical pole with the included hardware, you just need to turn one mounting plate. Height is the key; mount the antenna as high as is possible for maximum range. A good shielded 75 ohm cable no less than RG6 is recommended for ultimate range with the coax no longer than is absolutely necessary. The antenna has a UHF style connector and an F adapter is included. |

Testimonials:
From the UK: "...noticed a sizable gain in signal over the homebrew, about 2-3 S points(13 to 25dB) up and could even hear a couple of distant stations I could only receive with the 6 ele yagi. Impressive for a 1/4 wave. By the way I got better than RG6 cable the sat man figured, it's real good with copper foil and wire braid, solid single inner core, and new silver plated PL259s. No expense spared! Again tnx for a great product that does what it says on the tin! IT WORKS.
"Just thought I'd let you know I got the antenna this morning. We went to Radio Shack and got the adapter we needed for an F connector and had the antenna up and running in time for our live nativity tonight. Everyone thought it was great that they could listen to our choir singing Christmas while they drove through the nativity. Pastor Donald and all of us at the church want to thank you for getting the antenna to us overnight."

From Sweden: "I got the antenna today. Nice job! very simple design and rigid. I Like! ...it's rock solid."
"I am ecstatic about the antenna! We mounted it in the attic, and used the same 75 ohm 59U cable I had attached to a Terk booster. The difference in the signal was astonishing! My only regret is that I didn't buy it on eBay so I could leave ultra-positive feedback on your fine product and outstanding service! Thanks!"
