FM Dipole Improvement for Reception and Transmission
The FM Dipole FM DX Antenna Co sells is established an exceptional antenna for reception and will work great for transmitting as well.
To make it work even better don't use the coaxial transformer that ships with the antenna. Attach ring terminals to the end of your 50 or 75 ohm coax and attach it to the feed point of each radial. This will improve reception considerably and make it possible to transmit up to 100 watts with an excellent signal with this versatile antenna. You can use Plasti-dip or some other form of waterproof material to cover the ring end of the cable for protection.
The following picture give an example of how it could look if you put ring terminals (crimp style) on the coax and attached to the dipole:
